Our mission
EV Charger Pins exists to make EV charging reliable, transparent, and stress-free for every driver on the planet. We aggregate charging station data from official government registries, network operators, and open datasets, then layer real driver experiences on top to give you a picture no single source can match.
Finding a charger that works shouldn't be an adventure. We're building the tool we wish existed when we first switched to electric.
What we cover
- Over 360,000 charging stations across 112 countries
- All major connector types: CCS, CHAdeMO, Type 2, GB/T, NACS, and more
- Reliability scores from verified driver check-ins
- Crowd-verified pricing, status reports, and photos
- Detailed specs: power (kW), number of points, access type, opening hours
How the data works
Our catalog is built from a pipeline that pulls from official public sources including the US Alternative Fuels Database (AFDC), France's IRVE registry, Germany's BNetzA, the Nordic NOBIL network, and other open datasets. Every record is archived, normalized into a single schema, and deduped so a charger that appears in multiple datasets shows up exactly once.
On top of that catalog, drivers contribute check-ins, reviews, photos, and price reports. These community signals are trust-weighted, AI-moderated for quality, and aggregated into a live overlay that updates the reliability score and displayed price for each charger.
Nearby places shown on charger pages (cafés, restrooms, groceries within walking distance) come from OpenStreetMap contributors and are refreshed periodically. If a nearby place is wrong or closed, suggest a correction on the charger page and the community will verify it.
Contributing
Anyone can contribute after creating a free account. Check in when you charge, leave a quick review, report a broken stall, upload a photo, or suggest a correction. High-reputation contributors earn the ability to auto-publish edits, helping the whole community faster.
The more people contribute, the better the data gets for everyone. That's the flywheel we're building.
