1. Who we are

2. What we collect

Account data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store your email and display name to operate your account.

Contribution data

Check-ins, reviews, photos, price reports, and corrections you submit are stored alongside your user ID and a timestamp. This is the content that makes the Service useful to other drivers.

Vehicle profile (optional)

If you add a vehicle, we store the make, model, and connector type to personalise results. You can delete this at any time from your profile.

Usage data

We collect anonymised access logs (pages visited, search queries, country-level location derived from IP). We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics are aggregated and never sold.

Location (opt-in)

"Near me" search uses your browser's Geolocation API. We do not store your precise location. The latitude/longitude is sent to our API to find nearby chargers and is discarded immediately.

• Operate and improve the Service (legal basis: contract / legitimate interests)
• Display your contributions on charger pages (legal basis: contract)
• Compute reputation and trust scores for content moderation (legitimate interests)
• Send transactional emails (account alerts, moderation decisions). No marketing without consent.
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interests)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising targeting.

Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. Contribution data (reviews, check-ins, etc.) may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form indefinitely to maintain the integrity of historical reliability scores. Access logs are retained for 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Export your contributions in a portable format
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based

To exercise these rights, go to your account settings or email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. No cookie consent banner is required for functional cookies under most privacy laws.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has registered, please contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or a prominent notice on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
